How we review your form, and what we leave out
The short answer: we apply fixed, mechanical rules to what you write or to what can be read from your file, inside your browser. We don't interpret your case, we don't decide eligibility and we don't promise an accuracy percentage.
What the rules check
- Required fields left empty, based on the category you declared.
- Dates that are impossible, in the future or inconsistent with each other.
- The format of the A-Number and other identifiers.
- Answers marked “I don't know,” which stay as uncertainty and never become “No.”
- Information taken from a document that you have not confirmed yet.
- Consistency between the category you declared and the rest of your answers.
- The form edition compared with the one USCIS accepts today.
The rules are the same in a real case file and in the sample: one reviewer, one generator and one questionnaire.
How your file is read
The file is opened inside your browser. If it is a fillable PDF of the edition USCIS accepts, we read those fields directly. If it is a scan or a photo, image recognition runs on your own device and reads whatever it can. We don't send the file, its name or its contents to any server, and no copy remains when you close the screen.
You will always see which pages were read and which were not. An unreadable, incomplete or password-protected file is never presented as a clean result.
A value that was read is not a verified value
When a value comes from reading the file, we mark it as read and ask you to confirm it against your original. Until you confirm it, we don't treat it as true, and that is how it appears in your review. Nothing goes into your case file unless you approve it, one item at a time.
What the free review includes
- Every finding detected, with none hidden.
- The location of the information when we can identify it, with the reason and the official source.
- Which parts of the file could be read and which could not.
- Format help so you can correct your original yourself.
And what it does not do:
- It does not fill out or return a corrected official I-765.
- It does not decide whether you qualify and does not file anything with USCIS.
- It does not check your evidence or validate your documents.
- It does not know what USCIS will decide or how long it will take.
What we do with doubt
Uncertainty is kept as uncertainty: it is not turned into “No” and it is not filled in with a guess. If a check cannot run, we say so instead of treating the field as fine. No findings means we found no inconsistencies in what we reviewed, not that your application is correct.
